Three-party’s proposal doesn’t address Madhes demands: Upendra Yadav

Dec 5, 2015- Sanghiya Samajbadi Nepal Forum (SSNF) Chairman Upendra Yadav has remarked that the proposal brought by big three political parities doesn’t address the demands raised by Madhes agitation. He said the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) has rejected the proposal outright.
“The current proposal is the same that was brought by Sushil Koirala led government,” said leader Yadav. “This proposal won’t address the demands of Madhesi, indigenous and Tharu.” He claimed that the proposal was brought by Nepali Congress to achieve its own ends.
“It has been learnt that the other parties are now trying to make it common,” claimed Chairman Yadav.
He claimed that he had no knowledge of any talks slated to be held in Baluwatar on Friday evening.
In a separate context, leader Yadav said the purpose of Madhesi leaders’ visit to New Delhi is to clear the misconceptions of India leaders, who have been influenced by false claims of ruling party leaders, and to exchange views regarding Nepal’s problems.
“Leaders of ruling parties including the CPN-UML have been living in New Delhi. And it has not come to public,” said Yadav. He urged the media to publicise Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa’s purported visit to Delhi to meet his Guru.
